What BRINGS YOU HERE?

Often in life, we struggle to connect with our own vitality. Whether we are making major life decisions, wrestling with longstanding difficulties, or longing for shifts we can’t yet name, we need access to a sense of our own true presence and potential. When that access is blocked or tenuous, we suffer. Anxiety, depression, panic, phobia, relational trouble, isolation, self-harm, destructive patterns, or simply feeling lost are some forms of that suffering.

Coming into meaningful relationship with another person in therapy is a powerful way to restore your connection with yourself—or to build it for the first time.

WHAT IS DEPTH THERAPY?

Through patient, empathetic attention to your dreams and oldest stories, your hopes and terrors, your gifts and curiosities, you and I can work to gradually acknowledge parts of yourself that have gone unseen, and integrate them into who you are becoming. For many people, making that contact feels transformative. It can liberate the energy you need to initiate changes, to feel more alive, and to live more fully.

WHO IS IT FOR?

This depth approach to therapy can be welcome at any stage in life. I work with adults in midlife, young adults, teens, and elders. I believe that it is never too late—or too early—for us to become more whole, and more truly ourselves.
